3. Dr. Kathy Gates provided the Academic Council with an update of the project to assist the Medical Center in their transition to SAP. 4. Dr. Kathy Gates mentioned a task force for on the admissions process. This is an effort to streamline the submission of materials to the University during the application process. 5. Dr. Morris Stocks announced the best practices awards received by units of the University. 6. Dr. Maurice Eftink distributed the SACS site visit team schedule and discussed the logistics of the team's visit. 7. Dr. Morris Stocks announced that the IHL Search Committee to find a new Chancellor will be on campus to host listening sessions and receive input into the qualifications and process. 8. Preliminary reports on Fall to Spring retention, undergraduate applications, and honors college applications were provided.
