There was an emergency CAA meeting on to consider grading option proposals during the COVID-19 emergency. MOTION 1: Affirm that a COVID-19 Emergency Z-grade option be allowed (see UG minutes for proposal). Amendment 1: Allow schools to opt out of this option for courses within their school, after following the proper process for course approval and/or academic standards within that school. Did not pass Amendment 1 Vote For Against Abstain 6 12 3 AMENDMENT 2: Allow School of Pharmacy to opt out of this option for courses within their school, after following the proper process for course approval and/or academic standards within that school. Amendment 2 Vote For Against Abstain 14 0 7 AMENDMENT 3: Include 500-level courses for undergraduate students who are enrolled for undergraduate credit. Amendment 3 Vote For Against Abstain 21 0 0 Complete Motion For Against Abstain 19 1 1 MOTION 2: Affirm that a COVID-19 Emergency P-grade option be allowed (see UG minutes for proposal).
