Motion 1: Law School Grading Proposal-Approved (Duncan/Allen) The law school recently approved: Instructors may allow students to choose between taking their class for a letter grade or Z grade for any class other than: 1L classes, Professional Responsibility, Evidence and, for any student with a GPA that is below 2.8, Bar Skills, Constitutional Law II, Criminal Procedure I, Advanced Torts, and Advanced Legal Analysis. Students may not count toward their credit hour graduation requirement more than 6 credit hours for which they were awarded a Z grade in such a Z-letter grade option class. Students shall have the option of changing this election until the add/drop deadline.
