Motion 1: Course changes, additions, deletions -Approved (Holmes/Cohen) CLA and SOP has items that remained Tabled; Motion 2: Change Program- BA in Computer Science-Approved (Holmes/Easson); Motion 3: Change Program- BA in Economics-Approved (Wilder/Cohen); Motion 4: Change Program- BA in History-Approved (Cohen/Easson); Motion 5: Change Program- BA in Rhetoric, Writing and Speech Communication -Approved, 3 Abstained (Holmes/Easson) (Hickerson, Wells Dolan, Holmes) Hickerson expressed some concern with the outdated language; Motion 6: Change Program- BAJ in Journalism-Approved (Holmes/Mead); Motion 7: Change in Minor: Environmental Studies-Approved, 1 Abstained (Easson/Holmes) (Easson) Easson asked about prerequisite classes for Biology. Cohen mentioned Biology does not have any of those concerns, as it is a multidisciplinary area; Motion 8: Change in Minor Journalism -Approved (Holmes/Wells Dolan); Motion 9: Add Minor: Freedom Studies -Approved (Wilkin/Cohen) Wilkin explained the interdisciplinary minor, stating the director made 21 edits. 1 degree program in the College of Liberal Arts had some concerns for 1 particular department.; Motion 10: Update to Motion 9: There was a motion made to approve the 5 classes proposed from Undergraduate Council as FS courses. These were previously tabled, and then approved -Approved (Cyree/Grandjean) Motion 11: Add Minor: eSports-Approved (Holmes/Grandjean); Motion 12: Other Requests: CLA is adding RHET 201 to BA Degree Additional Humanities Category and BS Degree Social Science and Humanities Category-Approved (Holmes/Cohen); Motion 13: Graduate Course Changes, Additions, Deletions-Approved (Kluck/Easson); Motion 14: Other Requests: Waiver of GRE Scores for Admission to Graduate Programs Offered by ECE -Approved (Easson/Cohen); Motion 15: Other Requests: Change Current Catalog Instructions for ANth Graduate Program Application -Approved (Holmes/Kluck); Motion 16: Other Requests: Re:Remove Requirement for GRE in GGE Department -Approved (Easson/Cyree); Motion 17: Other Requests: Grievance Policy: Dan Durkin gave an update to bring back to CAA & Faculty Senate.
