1. Supplemental information for FR 561 is attached. 2. The Graduate Council voted to form a task force to consider establishment of the Master of Interdisciplinary Studies degree. Dr. Kathleen Wickham, Dr. Hugh Sloan and Dr. Jeffrey Hallam agreed to serve along with Drs. Eftink and Wyandt. 3. The Graduate Council approved the a policy to consider alternatives to standardized test admissions criteria as described in the attached document. 4. The Graduate Council voted to approve the use of the Pearson Test of English- Academic in addition to the TOEFL and IELTS as a means of assessing English language competency of International applicants to graduate programs with a minimum score of 53 for a full standing admission, corresponding to a 79 score on the TOEFL and a 6.00 on the IELTS.
