Other Attendance Information

Chloe Parrish attended to represent the Graduate Student Council. Dean Peter Grandjean, School of Applied Sciences, was a special guest who commented on the agenda item "Appendix 7: new Master of Science in Athletic Training" and answered any questions of the Council. Charles Stotler, Associate Director of the LL.M. Program in Air and Space Law and Research Counsel to the National Center for Remote Sensing, Air and Space Law, was a special guest who commented on the agenda item "Proposal for joint LLM/JD Degree" and answered any questions of the Council.

Additional Minutes Notes
"Benchmarking Data" was for informational purposes. Councillors were encouraged to share the data with their units and consider policy changes in subsequent meetings of the Council. There has been no update on "Policy on Awarding Honorary, Posthumous and In Memoriam Degrees" from the Senate of the Faculty, so this item was postponed to the October meeting. Plans were confirmed to have subsequent meetings at 10 am on 10/4; 11/1 and 12/13/2019.
