Other Attendance Information

Prof Debora Wenger attended in connection to the new Grad Certificate in Media Leadership and provide info about it. Prof. Whitney Sarver of Intensive English and Senior International Officer Blair McElroy attended regarding the TOEFL item and provided info about it.

Additional Minutes Notes
Regarding "Discussion of Dissertation Chair Policy Challenges" it was decided to have several people including Dean Kluck and Associate Dean Hussey work on the subject before the next meeting and a motion related to this topic may be proposed at the December meeting. Regarding "English Proficiency Requirement", the newly proposed "my best scores" policy regarding TOEFL scores was passed. Regarding "Update TOEFL Standard to My Best Score", a motion was passed to update the "International Applications" document. Regarding "Discuss Admissions Processes", it was decided that the item would be considered at a future meeting because of time constraints.
