Additional Minutes Notes
The following was passed regarding the item "Extending Option to Suspend Standardized Test": Motion: To extend the policy passed in September of 2020 (and other items that were passed) to include Spring, Summer, and Fall terms for 2022 to allow the temporary suspension of required standardized tests such as the GRE, Praxis, and GMAT (not including language proficiency tests) for admission. Regarding the "Graduate Certificate in Reform & Athletics Academic Success", the Council voted to approve the Certificate but noted that it cannot be implemented before 7/2022 because Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) approval will be needed and cannot be obtained in time to allow the certificate to be advertised or enroll students before 7/2022.
