The Council also considered the fact that a GPA requirement was NOT in place during 1994. From Dean Cyree's memo, it was clear that the student would have to take a number of other courses to graduate according to the 1994 catalog. The Council noted that this catalog was over 6 years old (which is the time frame normally considered appropriate). The Council also noted that they were considering only the appeal to allow use of the 1994 catalog; the School of Business would need to work with the candidate to ensure that all the requirements of that catalog were met. - The appeal to use the 1994 catalog was Denied (Cleland/Bounds) 20. The May 2010 Intersession is currently scheduled to be 3 weeks in length. Most intersessions are held in a 2-week time frame, and faculty seem to prefer the 2-week format (11 days + 1 exam day)given the recent poll taken by the Provost's Office regarding the August Intersession. There was a motion to change the May 2010 Intersession to be a 2-week session. - Passed (Cleland/Sabol)
