Course Changes, Additions, and Deletions: 1. Tabled S ST 555 - Foodways and Southern Culture - New course for closer academic ties between the Southern Studies academic program and the Southern Foodways Alliance. Pre req SST 101 and 102 or graduate standing. The Council's concern was that the course description suggested the teaching of nutrition and health concerns. A recommendation was made to delete the inappropriate sentences and submit a revised course description. (Shaw/Novicevic) 2. Approved addition of G ST 363 and INST 363 - Gender in Latin America - Cross listed. (Shaw/Novicevic) 3. Approved addition of CHIN 450 - Domain Mentorship - Support for Chinese Flagship program. (Watt/Irvin) 4. Approved addition of GERM 103 and 104 as a co-requisite to GERM 101 and GERM 102 to add one additional contact hour. (Shaw/Irvin) Degree program will remain at 124 hours. 5.
